Burberry has tapped actor Sam Riley and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for their Autumn/Winter 2008-9 collection. The couple were shot by Mario Testino in black and white for a nostalgic set of images that creative director Christopher Bailey sums up as "capturing the poetic melancholy and romance of the winter collections". I personally love these much more than the Agyness Spring/Summer 08 ads.

Katrina Kaif
I am currently obsessed with the songs from Race. The videos are hot, and though Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, and Akshay Khanna all look amazing, it is the stunning Katrina Kaif who really stood out for me; she is the type of girl who can wear the sluttiest outfit and maintain a sense of classiness. Her performance in the song Zaara Zaara Touch Me is electrifying. Katrina is a former model who was recently voted the sexiest woman alive by FHM magazine. Here are some pictures from her various photoshoots:

Books: Three Girls and Their Brother by Theresa Rebeck
I just read a fantastic novel, Three Girls and Their Brother, the first novel written by Theresa Rebeck, a TV and play writer who has won an Edgar and a Peabody award. It's about the four grandchildren of fitional literary critic legend Leo Heller: Daria, Polly, Philip, and Amelia Heller. The three girls are gorgeous, and after a photo spread in the New Yorker, they are launched head-first into the fame game, "helped" along by their clueless mother and questionable publicist. There are four parts, each written in the point of view of one of the siblings, and though they demonize each other individually, the reader realizes each is a whole, multi-dimensional character. It was amusing and slightly sad to find that the children are more fame-weary and cautious than the adults that surrounded them. Three Girls and Their Brother was a great read that had me questionaing whether fame is what it's all cracked up to be.

The Edge of Love Photocall
Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley looked so cool and every bit the fashionistas they are at The Edge of Love photocall in Scotland. I love when I see actresses together who look like they get along, and I especially like it when it seems like they called each other to see what the other was wearing. It's so high school, it's cute.

Emma Watson and Chanel
There have been tons of rumors swirling around about Emma Watson replacing Keira Knightley as the face of Chanel's perfume Coco Mademoiselle. Sadly, it is not true. I swear I heard that she signed on with some modeling agency earlier, though. So I still have some hope of seeing the lovely Ms. Watson in some campaign.

Is it getting hot in here, cont.
Bogie and Bacall in To Have and Have Not. Words cannot express how much I love this scene.
Is it getting hot in here?
Oh, the days of cinema when sex was subtly suggested, not shoved in our faces. Here is one of the hottest movie scenes ever, courtesy of Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman in Hitchcock's Notorious. They may be my favorite classic on-screen couple.
